Gloria E. Goss

Gloria E. Goss of Dunstable passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. She was 84 years old. She joins her husband, Charles E. Goss, Jr. in heaven.

Gloria was born on June 2, 1937 in Barnett, Vermont to Peter and Viola Flinn. She lived in several locations throughout Vermont and Massachusetts during her child hood before settling in Pepperell. She worked at the Pepperell Spa where she met her husband and married him on October 5, 1958.

Gloria worked as a cook at the Dunstable Elementary School and in the Nashua, NH School System. She received her Associate Degree in Business and worked as a Customer Service Representative at Apollo and Comet before retiring in 2005. She enjoyed her trips to Foxwoods with Charlie. She also was an avid fan of the Red Sox and Patriots and was one of the original Hockey Moms watching her two sons play.

Gloria is survived by three children, Charles III and his wife Dana of Templeton, MA, Wesley and his wife Jodi of Dunstable, MA and Darlene and her husband Kevin Cooney of Dunstable, MA. She has ten grandchildren, Kelly Goss of St. Petersburgh, FL, Crystal Hall of Lowell MA, Charles IV of Merrimack, NH, Zachary Goss of Dunstable, MA, Nick Goss of Templeton, MA, Ben Goss of Dunstable, MA, Katherine Cooney of Tyngsboro, MA, Stephanie Cooney of Dunstable, MA, Melissa Goss of Templeton, MA and Lindsay Cooney of Winter Garden, FL. She also has 6 great-grandchildren, TJ, Jayda, William, Roman, Charlotte and Charles V.

A private graveside service will be held at Central Cemetery, Dunstable. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Beacon Hospice Care, 290 Merrimack St., Suite 242, Lawrence, MA 01843.
