Jeanne Marie Coutu was born in Lowell, MA on September 18, 1952 to parents Elizabeth Hebert and the late George Coutu. She was a resident of Pepperell, MA most of her life and spent over 30 years working as a forklift operator at Bemis Bag. Following their closing, she went on to work at JCA until retirement.



Jeanne passed away from sudden illness, peacefully surrounded by loved ones on January 3, 2022 at Wachusett Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Gardner, MA. She leaves behind an aunt, Beatrice Stamp; sisters, Eleanor Lamb, Roberta Hebert, Vicky Sigler-Oliver, Patricia Bureau; a brother-in-law, Norman Bureau; brothers, David Hebert-Coutu, James Hebert, Ernest Coutu, and is predeceased by her eldest brother George Coutu Jr. Jeanne also leaves behind her nieces Jamie Lamb, Skyla Cormier, Sharon Wyatt, and nephews, Joshua Hebert, Spencer Lamb, James Harsh, Anthony Marcial, as well as many other nieces, nephews, and great nieces, and nephews.

Services will be held at McGaffigan Family Funeral Home, 37 Main St. (Rte. 113) Pepperell, MA on Saturday January 8, 2022 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. with the option to join with the family at Woodlawn Cemetery, Pepperell for burial. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeanne's memory may be sent to Wachusett Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, 32 Hospital Hill Road, Gardner, MA 01440.
