Mary Dorothy (Cataldo) DaSilva

Mary Dorothy (Cataldo) DaSilva passed away at Lowell General Hospital on October 4, 2021. Mary was born in Billerica, MA on September 5, 1968. She attended Shawsheen Vocational School and studied Business. For many years, she worked in accounting and eventually ventured into the health field so she could help others, most recently working for Right at Home of Harvard for the past five years. Mary had a love for softball and the ocean. She always found the time to keep in touch with the friends she made growing up in Billerica. Mary had a great outlook on life. She was full of energy, always had a big smile on her face, and made those around her laugh. She would help everyone and anyone because she had a huge heart.

Mary was predeceased by her father, Richard Cataldo of Billerica MA, and her sister, Dorothy (Dottie) and her husband Robbie Lyons of Apache Junction, AZ. Mary is survived by her son Corporal Corey DaSilva of the United States Marine Corps, and her two step-daughters, Brittany DaSilva of Dracut, MA and Erica DaSilva of Dracut MA, her mother Evelyn Vaudo and her husband John of Queen Creek AZ, her sister Katrina Elliott of Acton MA and her two brothers, Alfred Cataldo of Salem, NH and Richard Cataldo II of Nashua, NH. Mary is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Mary also leaves behind her best friend of over 20 years, Karen Twombly of Pepperell MA and Matthew Forest of Townsend MA.


DASILVA - Mary Dorothy (Cataldo), of Dunstable formerly of Billerica. October 4, 2021. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visiting hours in the McGaffigan Family Funeral Home, 37 Main St. (Rte. 113) Pepperell, MA on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 4 - 7 p.m. Burial will be private.
