Gram was truly one of a kind. She was smart, kind, generous, funny and tough. She loved day trips to the beach with family and friends. She also enjoyed spending time in her garden. Many mornings she could be found reading the New York Times at her kitchen table, doing the crossword puzzle and admiring the birds. She cared deeply about the world, the people she loved, human rights, politics and the Red Sox. She believed in doing the right thing and helping those in need. To many around town, she was known as ‘Gram’ and she could always be counted on for some good conversation and wise words.
Nancy will be sincerely missed by her children John Phillips, Robert Phillips and his wife Barbara Phillips and Charles Phillips and his wife Brenda Phillips. She also leaves behind many beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.
