PEPPERELL: Wayne A. Gulliver, 66, of Pepperell died Thursday, March 10, 2022 from complications due to Parkinson’s Disease at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester. Wayne was born in Fitchburg, April 22, 1955, the son of Muriel (Gulliver) Caserma and resided much of his life in Townsend and Pepperell. Wayne graduated from North Middlesex Regional High School, class of 1974. He went on to earn certificates in HVAC and maintenance. Wayne met Ann Tucker at a Bible study and they married in 1981. They started a family in Townsend, welcoming their first child Joyce, born in 1984, with their second child Eric born in 1986. Wayne raised his family in Pepperell and took care of his mother and her property in Townsend all his life. His maintenance career led him to Nashua Wastewater Treatment, where he retired in 2017. Wayne was an avid exerciser and spent his later years walking, hiking, and biking. He was a dedicated member of Pepperell Christian Fellowship. Wayne is survived by his wife, Ann Gulliver (Pepperell), and his daughter Joyce Worley and her husband Rich Worley (Worcester) and his son Eric Gulliver (Cambridge); one grandchild Drew Worley; his mother Muriel Caserma (Virginia) and two brothers David Gulliver (Georgia) and Keith Gulliver (Virginia); and numerous nieces and nephews. Wayne was predeceased by his brother Bruce Gulliver. Wayne did not want an obituary (so please don’t tell him we wrote it).
Calling hours will be held at McGaffigan Funeral Home, 37 Main St. (Rte. 113) Pepperell, MA from 10AM-12PM on March 19th, 2022. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Townsend, MA.
